Boris (The sludge/drone band) is great. Around since 1992, it's hard to place what Boris really is, genre wise.

If you play bass in any band but Smooth Jazz or extreme chill, you shouldn’t hold the bass guitar like a bass player. It is a guitar and is just as powerful as an actual guitar. The Doubleneck is simply a Siamese masterpiece. Flawless change from bass tabs to power chords!
